Pharos Designer - System Requirements

Before downloading the Designer software please check that your system meets the following specification:

Windows

• Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Pro or Home
• Pentium class processor at 1GHz or above
• 256MB RAM, 100MB free hard-disk space
• 1024x768 minimum screen resolution
• OpenGL graphics acceleration
• Ethernet or USB connection
• Apple QuickTime 6.5 or later (see below) 

Macintosh

• Apple Macintosh OS-X 10.4.x or later
• Pentium class or PowerPC processor at 1GHz or above
• 256MB RAM, 100MB free hard-disk space
• 1024x768 minimum screen resolution
• OpenGL graphics acceleration
• Ethernet or USB connection
• Apple QuickTime 6.5 or later (see below) 

Pharos Designer - Current Release

The current Windows and Macintosh releases are available here for download and should be used for evaluation and all new projects.

For new projects or evaluation please download the current release, see above.  Old releases are provided here in case a project requires additional programming or maintenance and it is not desirable to upgrade to the current release:

Apple QuickTime

Apple QuickTime (6.5 or later) must be installed to run Designer and QuickTime 7 is supplied on the Pharos Designer installation CD.   QuickTime is also available for download from Apple's website:
