Lighting control specialist Pharos Architectural Controls is excited to announce that entries for Designer DMX Record and Expert Control, have been crowned winners at the 2024 LIT Lighting Design Awards.
This marks the second time that Pharos has secured a double win at the LIT Awards, following 2022’s triumph with Pharos Expert, which won in the Lighting Controls category, and Pharos Cloud, which won in the Innovative Lighting Design Software Applications category. These accolades continue to add to the growing list of Pharos achievements.
The LIT Awards were created as a platform to recognise and celebrate achievements in lighting products, architectural lighting designs, and entertainment lighting. Each submission is evaluated by a diverse grand jury panel consisting of seasoned and well-respected academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs, and influential figures from the lighting design community.
DMX Record is a recently released, free-to-download, standalone utility for capturing multiple universes of sACN or Art-Net lighting data. DMX Record has been developed to enable the capture of complex lighting programming from another lighting control system. These recordings can then be imported straight into their Designer software to be deployed on LPC family controllers.
Expert is a practical and straightforward lighting control solution. At the heart of the system sits Expert Control – a single, reliable set-and-forget controller.
Expert Control is a compact DIN rail unit with out-of-the-box test modes and installation-friendly connectors. With DMX, DALI and a couple of convenient contact closures and relays on board, Expert Control provides up to 1024 channels – ideal for architectural lighting that requires the benefits of dynamic movement and colour in a cost effective and practical package. Having a control solution which integrates both DMX and DALI natively is extremely beneficial, seamlessly outputting to both protocols to allow designers to manage all lighting in the space at once.
