Lighting control expert Pharos Architectural Controls is celebrating after its Cloud solution was named as an Honoree in the LEDs Magazine 2022 BrightStar Awards. The accolade is a fantastic addition to the Pharos trophy cabinet, having scooped many awards over the years for both service and product innovation.
The new awards programme, which was launched in 2022, recognises ingenuity in commercial product offerings across the LED and solid-state lighting (SSL) supply chain. The BrightStar Awards have replaced the former LEDs Magazine Sapphire Awards, and feature a wider breadth of product categories to reflect the evolving marketplace.
Pharos Cloud, chosen as Honoree in the ‘Connected SSL, Software & Controls’ category, offers simple, secure remote lighting installation control and management, from any internet-connected device, anytime, anywhere in the world. It allows integrators to have a fully remote lighting control solution, delivering immediate cost and time-saving benefits as integrators no longer have to travel or be at their installation sites.
Pharos Cloud offers a solution that can be deployed almost immediately and without any major expenditure. No additional skills or hardware are required, and no complex interfacing is necessary.
Each BrightStar Awards entry is evaluated across several criteria including energy efficiency, and the role the solution plays in advancing new or existing applications. A team of expert judges have worked together to determine the overall score when marked against the set criteria. Pharos Cloud scored an incredibly impressive 4.00 out of a maximum of five.
The BrightStar Awards trophy was hand delivered to Jack Neill, Pharos Cloud Product Manager, on the Pharos stand at LightFair International in Las Vegas. Jack commented:
