Meet some manufacturers with whom we have worked closely to integrate our products, and that you can trust to support you as much as we do. 

At Pharos we are committed to working with partner manufacturers who, just like us, always put the customer and your project first. We have verified first hand that their products and protocols will integrate well with Pharos systems, especially with our IO Modules. Our support teams will cooperate and coordinate to resolve troubleshooting on-site challenges that can sometimes arise when integrating two or more third party devices or systems in an installation.

We call these companies Friends of Pharos.

What are Friends of Pharos?

Pharos controllers and systems are often used with devices from other manufacturers. Besides lighting, it can be integrated with sensors, data distribution equipment and much more. Often, industry standards like DMX or DALI 2 are sufficient to be sure that the various devices will work together without issues. But for some projects a closer integration between devices is needed, to support with manufacturer-specific features. To deal with this Pharos creates IO modules.

Integrators excel at making integration work. Due to their cutting edge work they can sometimes experience situations that have not been encountered by quality testing before. In this case it is important that the manufacturer is there to support the integrator.

At Pharos we will always do our best to support the integrator. But because we are not specialists in the systems from other manufacturers; the integrator can become stuck in the middle between two manufacturers, both confident their own systems work OK. The best solution is often to get the manufacturers to talk and resolve the issue. This is not uncommon, but some companies are more open to this than others. Friends of Pharos are companies who, like us, always put the customer first.

Benefits to our customers

• A promise to you that if you integrate our products with products from any of our Friends of Pharos, we will not leave you hanging – our respective Support teams will always work together to resolve potential issues and/or bugs together – no finger pointing, no ‘it is their fault’, no leaving you stuck in the middle.
• We’re open to new feature requests, and suggestions on how integration between Pharos and our Friend of Pharos partner can be improved. Feature request needs to fit in with either company’s timeline, but because we have a friendly relationship, we will work together to try to find a solution.
