Treetop Adventure Golf in Cardiff is home to two indoor themed 18-hole mini-golf courses. The “Tropical Trail” course is rainforest themed, and the “Ancient Explorer” has a mystical Egyptian feel.
The courses had existing lighting installed but little animation or automation. Experience Lighting was responsible for the new control system design and installation, with dynamic light and sound effects for a fun and immersive mini-golf experience.
Full show control runs through two Pharos TPC, with regular timed animations, audio and light cues, and reactive trigger events. Several of the holes on both courses have sensors within them, meaning when a customer putts the ball into the hole they are rewarded with a sound effect or celebratory light animation. Pharos RIO and EXT contact closures trigger these effects.
