Thank you ISE it was an absolute pleasure! A huge thank you to all who attended ISE 2019 and dropped by our stand. Here are just a few highlights in case you missed it.
Earlier this month we exhibited at the world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration. Integrated Systems Europe was once again held in Amsterdam at the RAI and took place from the 5th to the 8th of February. It was ISE’s largest show to date in terms of both exhibition space and attendees.
We returned this year to display our wide range of industry-leading dynamic lighting control systems, to showcase and demonstrate Pharos Cloud in action and display some key examples of Pharos integration with third-party products. It was a very busy few days, and we were really pleased to meet lots of new people as well as meeting with many existing customers.
At the show, we previewed Pharos Cloud, our easy-to-use remote management system. It makes it simple to control your Pharos project from any Internet-connected device, anytime, anywhere in the world. This was demonstrated from our stand at RAI, Amsterdam by triggering a live installation set up in our office in London, which really showed the responsiveness of the system and was a huge success!
No additional hardware is required – the Pharos controller is simply connected to the Internet and forms an outgoing connection to the Pharos Cloud servers. The fact that it is an outgoing connection means it works with the standard configuration of most firewalls and avoids many of the security risks normally associated with setting up remote management. Once connected, users can access their controllers via the Pharos Cloud website, to retrieve status, updating programming, fire triggers plus so much more.
Pharos Cloud is powered by SixEye, a specialist provider of cloud-based remote management technology, and we were delighted to have our SixEye colleagues alongside us exhibiting at the show.
Our stand also highlighted examples of how Pharos integrates with third-party products, including building management systems, AV equipment, consumer electronics and web-based data services. The key to these integrations is our growing library of IO Modules – downloadable plug-ins for the Pharos Designer software.
We were also pleased to show the new VLC+ controller and a preview of the latest Designer 2.6 software.
Overall a brilliant event! We want to thank ISE, all attendees and exhibitors and we look forward to ISE 2020!
