The Olympic Park Precinct in Sydney has been brought to life with the installation of a custom engineered, modern and sustainable lighting solution.
Sydney’s Olympic Park, in the city’s western suburbs and most famously the host for the 2000 Olympics, contains multiple entertainment venues, commercial developments, extensive parklands and apartments. Under the direction of Lots of Watts and controls partner Pharos, this iconic park has undergone a transformation.
Several Pharos TPCs were networked and installed by Lots of Watts Australia to control scores of Martin 400 fixtures allowing specific lighting themes for major events. Real time light levels and colour changes can be programmed remotely to change the colour of the whole precinct or individually for specific buildings and spaces.
This newly installed architectural lighting control solution now provides the precinct operator with the ability to provide an immersive experience with light to both the public and event organisers.
The triumph of this large-scale project is testament to the cooperation between the many organisations situated on the site, and the result provides all visitors to its many sporting and cultural events with a spectacular and enhanced lighting experience.
