The TPC + EXT is the perfect combination if you’re looking for a mains-powered DALI and DMX lighting control solution with versatile output and show control options, that can be used standalone or integrated.
The award-winning TPC (Touch Panel Controller) is an elegant lighting controller with a customisable, 4.3″ capacitive touch screen.
- With control of playback selection and lighting levels at your fingertips, you can gracefully transition between scenes, timelines, effects and pixel-mapped media.
- The intuitive user interface lets you create multiple screens of controls, configure their appearance and get immediate visual feedback via the touch panel.
- Can integrate with the full range of Pharos Designer Controllers and Remote Devices.
The EXT provides local DMX and DALI output for the TPC, as well as power and other hardware control interfaces.
- The EXT and TPC are configured as one in the Designer 2 Software, as if the TPC supports the additional interfaces directly.
- The EXT is provided in a compact DIN-rail compatible housing for mounting within an electrical cabinet.
Touch Panel Interface
Touch screen user interface is fully customisable using the free Pharos Designer software. Create multiple pages of lighting controls including buttons, sliders, keypads and colour pickers, and configure their appearance and visual feedback. Make it eye-catching by importing your own graphics or picking from one of our attractive themes.
DMX & DALI
The combination of TPC + EXT provides you a lighting control system that controls 512 channels of DMX/eDMX (Art-Net, sACN, KinET) for any type of fixture. Additionally you have full control of up to 64 DALI devices, including Type 8 support for colour and tuneable white control.
As the EXT can be mounted close to all cables in an electric cabinet, it’s possible to keep the TPC near the user and connect it to the EXT using just a single cable (up to 100m). Mains powered and installer-friendly connectors enable extremely easy installation of this versatile solution.
The intelligent Pharos Engine gives you complete control of your lighting installation. Based on individually controllable and independently running timelines and scenes, it lets you build dynamic, precise, fully customisable pre-programmed lighting displays, all while giving you the freedom of real-time manual overrides, flexible multi-zone control, prioritisation and more.
Timing is everything. Whatever the stimulus, Pharos Trigger can handle it. You can control your lighting with responsive, reactive programming. Pharos Trigger is a rules engine that uses conditional logic and a broad range of interfaces and protocols. Send and receive any command, to and from any system. Conditional logic is supported, along with a powerful built-in scripting language for unlimited flexibility.
Design the big picture; control every pixel. Create a 2D map of your fixtures within the Designer software, then use Pharos Mapping to create visually striking effects or play video across the entire LED array. Powerful controls allow you to build maps fast with pixel precise adjustment.
Future-proof your lighting projects by connecting your Pharos Controllers to Pharos Cloud, a secure remote management service from SixEye. This allows remote, but direct, control of your Controllers from anywhere in the world, letting you check all of your Controllers’ statuses, inputs and outputs, fire triggers, schedule events, upload new projects and much more. All through one portal, accessible at your own Internet domain.
All Pharos controllers also have their own Web Interface that can be accessed on a local area network that provides real-time statuses, access to the full log and the ability to fire triggers on the controller.
Programmed and configured using the free Pharos Designer 2 software – available for Windows or Mac OS X – with upload over Ethernet.
Hardware and firmware are self-sufficient, so no PC needs to be left on site. Rugged, compact unit designed for 24/7 operation and reliability.
Multiple Pharos Controllers can be seamlessly linked together to work as one via a standard Ethernet network. For additional integration options, simply add Remote Devices to further extend the network.
Microprocessor-based system supports firmware updates via the network from Designer software or the web interface.
