University of Leeds Car Park, Leeds

The University of Leeds wanted to show off the dramatic external cladding of its new multi storey car park with a new energy efficient, colourful LED design.

• Funds were limited so LITE proposed a simple scheme just lighting the most viewed two elevations and to graze the cladding from below
• After trials Philips RGB ColorGraze was selected and 21 units are mounted on specially made bracket arms to ensure the uplighting catches as much of the concaves as possible
• All fixtures controlled via Pharos LPC 1 and changes an be remotely uploaded via the university network
