A unique lighting installation for charitable foundation the Wellcome Trust. Jonathan Coles Lighting Design Ltd approached Architainment Lighting Ltd to supply a custom solution for the café and foyer area 

• Architainment supplied over 200 units of the iColour Mg g2, a colour-changing lamp from Philips Colour Kinetics.
• Fixtures were hung low from the building’s high ceiling in laboratory glassware of all different shapes and sizes all frosted at the bottom to create the illusion that they are filled with liquid.
• A Pharos LPC 2 controls the 200 hundred strong cluster of lamps.
• The Pharos controller was specified by Jonathan Coles (Lighting Design Ltd) due to its incredible flexibility, ability to monitor, trigger and reprogram units remotely and securely over the internet using any web browser or the Pharos Installation Manager.
• The user can select scenes to display using a web browser or mobile phone.
• Creating incredible rich and vibrant programmes that are used throughout the course of a day.
• The scenes were programmed to represent rippling, water-like effects, using different colours and intensities for various times of the day.
