24/7 control, any device, anywhere
We have a range of tools for managing Pharos Designer installations from anywhere in the world and from any device.

Web interface
Every Designer controller has a built-in web server with a web interface showing a wide range of status information and configuration options. Accessible from any device with a web browser, including phones and tablets – you can check on the controller’s status, upload new programming, fire triggers and much more.
The web interface can be password-protected, with user levels restricting access to different sections, and is ideal for remote management when connected to the same network as the controller.

Bespoke web apps
The Designer controller’s web server can also host a completely bespoke web app, using our API to interact with the controller. This is ideal for providing end users with a simple range of controls for interacting with the Designer installation.
The default web interface can also be easily customised with your own logo and stylesheet, giving you complete control over its appearance.

Logging
Diagnostic information about each controller is collected into the controller’s log, which can then be viewed from Designer, Cloud or web interfaces. Log entries can be filtered by controller, log level and log type – perfect for troubleshooting.
Pharos Cloud
Cloud is our award-winning, easy-to-use remote management, monitoring and scheduling service. It makes it simple to control your Pharos project from any Internet-connected device, anytime, anywhere in the world.
No additional hardware is required – the Designer controller is simply connected to the Internet and forms an outgoing connection to the Pharos Cloud servers. The fact that it is an outgoing connection means it works with the standard configuration of most firewalls and avoids many of the security risks normally associated with setting up remote management. Once connected, users can access their controllers via the Pharos Cloud website, to retrieve status, updating programming, fire triggers plus so much more. Each Cloud project has sophisticated user access management, with each user able to access only the controls they need to.

Thinking Big – Campus and City-wide installations
Manage and control lighting installations across large sites which span multiple Pharos Designer control systems with Pharos Director
Pharos Director
Pharos Director connects to one or more Designer systems – each of which can consist of multiple Designer controllers – over a local network. It allows non-technical users, such as marketing teams or building managers, to manage their installation in a friendly and convenient way from their own computer, as well as providing a live status overview.
Video clips can be mapped across a canvas built up from any number of fixture arrays, which may represent different buildings and different Designer systems. Each array is scalable to make sure that the content appears at the right size in the real world, and only the relevant piece of the clip is then uploaded to each controller.
Calendar-based scheduling provides a convenient interface for scheduling playlists as well as recurring events or one-offs. Each playlist can include media clips, timelines or firing triggers. A customisable manual override interface provides the option to start the playlist on all systems at the touch of a button.
