Job Summary
The Technical Training Specialist will work closely with our Product Management, Sales, and Technical Support teams to ensure there is consistent documentation and training materials available to train both internal and external customers. This includes and is not limited to online articles, PDF Documents, PowerPoint presentations, and video tutorials.
The Technical Training Specialist will have direct involvement in customer training and will be comfortable presenting Pharos products at customer events and tradeshows. The successful candidate will often be required to assist with system diagrams and to advise on the programming of projects as well as be a resource for the Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain training documentation, videos and presentations covering all three ranges of Pharos control systems.
- Provide training on these systems to internal staff in accordance with the One Support model.
- Provide training in-house and abroad for clients and end-users.
- Demonstrate Pharos products to potential customers, and occasionally act in a technical sales capacity to support our sales team as required.
- Trial & evaluate new products & features prior to release, providing feedback to the development team.
- Assist customers with system designs, configuration and programming for specific projects.
- Make regular contributions to online support resources, including FAQs, knowledgebase articles and user tips.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- At least 4 years' experience in a customer-facing sales or support role.
- Strong presentational skills both in person and online.
- Technical knowledge of lighting or video products and experience of their use in a live event or installation environment.
- An understanding of electrical safety.
- An ability to work independently, sometimes in remote locations.
- Good working knowledge of computers (Windows/macOS).
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- Excellent time management, including the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks appropriately.
Desirable Extras
- Lighting programming experience on architectural or entertainment lighting projects.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages, e.g. C, JavaScript or Lua.

Job Summary
The Technical Support Specialist will respond quickly and effectively to support requests from our customers worldwide, including manufacturer partners, dealers and end-users. The role will concentrate on providing support for customers working in Europe, but successful candidates will be part of the global Pharos support team, who work together closely to provide continuity of support around the clock for all regions.
We use Zendesk to track every support request and YouTrack to track features in development — the Technical Support Specialist will be expected to use both on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be expected to gain an awareness of the paths to market for Pharos products and contribute regularly to our online support resources to help ensure Pharos provides the best possible support.
The Technical Support Specialist will have some involvement in customer training and will be comfortable presenting Pharos products at customer events and tradeshows.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly, effectively and consistently to support enquiries for Pharos projects via phone or email.
- Provide a degree of out of hours and weekend support as part of the global Pharos support team.
- Use the internal Zendesk support tracking system, ensuring that support requests are logged and responded to correctly.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of a division of products within Carallon’s Manufacturing operation, where the production process involves mechanical assembly, testing, and quality control. This position is ideally suited to those with prior experience of running a final assembly electro-mechanical production environment, though specific training on internal systems and processes will be provided.

- Supervise a team delivering one of Carallon’s controller product ranges
- Attend regular Manufacturing Management, Parts and Supply, R&D and Scheduling meetings

- Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong communication, organisational and empathic people skills
- Operate on strategic levels whilst also being prepared to understand the practicalities of tasks involved
- Able to act as a conduit of information, between different teams and levels of seniority, to ensure that each team-member understands their own priorities and how they connect to the company’s strategic goals
- Be able to follow design guidelines, instructions and mechanical drawings, as well as maintain such documents for new products
- Understanding of the implications of Compliance and relevant standards to production such as standard UL 62368-1

Job Summary
We are looking for a software test engineer to join our team. Primary focus would be on effective manual testing of our industry-leading lighting control and video processing products, however we also utilise automated testing using Squish. We offer a very friendly, flexible and supportive working environment.
Candidates should be able to manage their own time as they will be involved in testing across multiple projects, working independently but under the guidance of the project leader. Good communication skills are essential in liaising with external clients on clarifying field reports as well as working internally with developers to reproduce reported faults. This position is suitable for those with some prior experience of software testing, but training will be provided on our products and related technologies if not. The ideal candidate will be methodical, with an eye for detail, but will also be able to think creatively to anticipate how customers might use a product and where problems might occur.

- Investigating fault reports to reproduce issues, identify bugs and document them thoroughly in our defect-tracking system

Job Summary
The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of client projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget. They will be the central hub of the project delivery effort with visibility of all key internal and client areas, and must be a strong voice for deadlines and accountability.
Significant time will be spent with Gantt tools to assist Project Leads in planning roadmaps and workloads. They will also assist in timesheet gathering/analysis for billing purposes, and in report generation to update directors and inform R&D strategy.
The role requires a good balance of technical knowledge, strong process ability and excellent teamworking and people skills. It offers an opportunity to interact with numerous sub-departments and undertake a variety of duties and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal team liaison. Gathering progress feedback via scrums or individual meetings and understanding/mitigating potential dependency bottlenecks and blockages.
- Using Gantt tools to plan/estimate/track new work cycles in collaboration with software/hardware project leads.
- Running daily team standups, planning sprints and managing retrospectives.
- Client liaison, management, and progress updates. Clear communication and expectation management on key deliverables. Working with clients to clarify requirements and feature specs and translate these into clear descriptions for developers.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in a related field from a Russell Group university or equivalent.
- At least 4 years’ commercial experience of technical project management in an engineering environment.

- Proactivity in raising and mitigating team and project issues as they arise. Willingness to challenge teams and individuals appropriately when necessary.
- Strong process-orientated approach to management. Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.
