Berceni Arena, Bucharest

Dynamic façade and game lighting control at Bucharest’s new Berceni Arena Ice Rink, driving over 70,000 RGB light points across the exterior and DALI-based interior lighting optimised for HD sports broadcasting.

  • Six 100-universe LPC X controllers manage the façade, providing 600 universes in total and driving 70,839 ColorFlex Micro RGB light points via the Color Kinetics KiNET protocol over Ethernet
  • Zones and sections of the façade can operate as independent screens or combine as a single cohesive canvas, with independently running timelines and scenes for animated content and colour sequences
  • A five-inch TPS touchscreen provides venue staff with real-time scene recall and colour and intensity override from a seamless glass-plate wall panel
  • Four RIO D4s address the DALI-based interior game lighting, meeting HD broadcast requirements for sports competitions and ensuring a consistent visual experience for spectators
