New in Designer 2.12.0, increase the height of your timeline rows and make full use of available display space.
From the Timeline tab in Designer 2.12 or later, move your cursor over the timeline browser and hold Control (Command on macOS) while scrolling using the mouse or trackpad.
This shortcut can also be used in the Layout, Mapping, Patch, DALI and Scene tabs.
💡 Tip: Use the hide unused rows button to prevent empty rows being shown
Improved audio waveforms
In Designer 2.12 and later, audio waveforms display much more detail in timelines.
The top and bottom half of each waveform in dark grey shows the maximum and minimum amplitude of the wave at that point. The root mean square (RMS) is shown in light grey.
Stereo audio files are represented as a single waveform but will expand to show individual left and right waveforms when timeline row height is increased. The left channel is shown at the top and right at the bottom.
