Zumtobel
Zumtobel is an international lighting company specialising in innovative lighting solutions for architecture, commercial spaces and a wide range of professional applications.
Zumtobel’s lighting management systems combine high-quality lighting with intelligent control, providing flexible solutions that can be tailored to the needs of each project.
LITECOM is Zumtobel’s intelligent lighting management system, providing intuitive control and management of lighting throughout a building. It can manage general and architectural lighting alongside emergency lighting, with integration to Zumtobel’s eBox central battery system providing a comprehensive approach to lighting control and emergency lighting management
Designed to be flexible and expandable, LITECOM provides a platform for managing lighting from individual luminaires and lighting scenes through to complete building installations.
Integration
Pharos has developed an integration between Pharos Designer and the LITECOM lighting management system. The integration allows the two systems to exchange control triggers via the LITECOM API, providing a straightforward way to connect LITECOM-controlled lighting with the advanced dynamic lighting capabilities of Pharos.
This enables LITECOM and Pharos to work together within a wider lighting installation, allowing events or actions in one system to trigger programmed functions in the other. This can be particularly useful where architectural lighting controlled by LITECOM needs to interact with dynamic lighting, media, events or other programmed elements managed by Pharos.
Technical Details
The integration is provided through a Pharos Designer I/O Module for LITECOM, using the LITECOM API to provide communication between the two systems.
The integration supports API-based triggers between LITECOM and Pharos Designer, allowing LITECOM events to initiate Pharos actions and Pharos to trigger functions within LITECOM.
The integration provides a flexible interface between the two control platforms, allowing each system to retain its own control functionality while enabling coordinated operation where required.
