Harrods, London
Upgraded exterior lighting control for the iconic Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, delivering dynamic colour-changing festoon illumination and layered architectural accent lighting across the landmark’s late-Victorian terracotta façade.
- A 50-universe LPC X provides all-in-one control for the festoon and architectural lighting installations, handling significant channel counts across the elaborate façade
- A 5″ TPS touchscreen allows venue staff to select scenes and override colour and intensity in real time
- An EDN 20 provides cost-effective Ethernet-distributed DMX ports across the project; and a Pharos Switch provides power and data for the TPS
- Pharos Cloud enables GVA Lighting to receive system status updates and provide ongoing remote support
- Festoon lighting shifts from warm white to cool white each evening, with bespoke colours for special events and celebrations
- GVA-supplied fixtures provide cove lighting, façade washing and wall grazing to accentuate the baroque detailing
