Redcar Beacon, North Yorkshire

The 80 ft tower, dubbed a “vertical pier” was an integral part of the Redcar seafront regeneration in 2013, but the lighting system needed an upgrade.

  • Lighting Solutions Specialists, LITE Architectural Lighting worked with the local authority to propose a low maintenance system that could be controlled remotely
  • iColor Accent Compact RGBW is ideally suited for designed effects in architectural settings and the RBGW adds a separate white LED, delivering better quality whites
  • A Pharos LPC is responsible for controlling the 110 fittings
  • The LPC manages individually controllable and independently running timelines and scenes, which has proven the ideal solution for the chosen dynamic scheme
