South Tyneside Council has completed a regeneration project at the popular resort of Littlehaven to bolster the sea defences and create a new amenity for local residents and visitors to enjoy.

0 - Philips LED luminaires are installed along the length of the promenade and car parks, controlled by a Pharos LPC 1
- Each of the luminaires has been fitted with dimmable drivers, so that the general lighting can be dimmed during light shows, and at quieter times of the night to save energy
- Special events or and holidays are programmed with colour-changing sequences
- Two specially commissioned works of art have their own dedicated lighting schemes, featuring a Philips Decoscene fitting for the ‘Eye’ and a recessed Philips ColorGraze for the ‘Sail’
