As well as bringing new innovations to market, as a manufacturer it is sometimes inevitable that we need to make changes to existing products. These changes include major redesigns, technological advancements, and responses to customer feedback and requests.

Designer RIO 08/44/80
Our Designer RIO 08/44/80 reached end of life in Q2 2026.

Designer VLC
Our Video Lighting Controller, the Designer VLC reached end of life in Q3 2025.

Designer VLC+ 50/100/250/500
The lower-capacity variants (50 / 100 / 250 / 500 universes) of our Video Lighting Controller Plus, the Designer VLC+, reached end of life in Q2 2024. Other capacities are not included in this product notification and will continue to be available until otherwise announced.
VLC+ M is available as an alternative for the lower-capacity variants.
Designer RDM
Our four-port DMX512 repeater, the Designer RDM, reached end of life in Q2 2024.
Repeat is available as an alternative.
Designer PoE
Our four-port Power-over-Ethernet unmanaged switch, the Designer PoE, reached end of life in Q2 2024.
Switch is available as an alternative.
Designer TPS
Our original Touch Panel Station, the Designer TPS, reached end of life in Q2 2024.
Replacement products are available with the improved TPS 5 and larger TPS 8, which have minor differences.
Designer TPC
Our Touch Panel Controller, the Designer TPC, reached end of life in Q4 2024.
There is no direct replacement as we move towards all touch interfaces (TPS 5, TPS 8) being exclusively remote devices.
Note that the TPC FBB and SBB backboxes are included in this product notification.
Designer EXT
Our mains and I/O extension to the TPC, the Designer EXT, reached end of life in Q4 2024.
There is no direct replacement as we move towards all touch interfaces (TPS 5, TPS 8) being exclusively remote devices.
Designer RIO D
Our Remote Input Output DALI device, the Designer RIO D, reached end of life in Q2 2025.
The Pharos RIO D4 is its replacement.
